With over 25 years of experience in business and strategy, Sarimah’s great strength is clear thinking and communication, including the ability to reframe complex problems making them easier to understand and solve.
Sarimah has extensive experience in leading strategy, planning, growth and organisation projects in the financial services, retail, healthcare, disability and small business sectors.
Her passion is working with purpose-driven organisations, facilitating strategic thinking and strategic planning workshops, and designing strategies for growth. She has worked with Boards and executive management teams across multiple sectors, helping them to rethink their vision and purpose statements, to help guide strategic decision making.
Sarimah also enjoys group and community facilitation, and she excels in working with diverse stakeholders and gaining consensus where conflicting views exist.
Prior to starting Aligned Thinking Sarimah held leadership positions as a director overseeing transition of services to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), established the business and strategy division in a major community health service, has led a product and pricing review for a purpose-driven financial institution, and led several major re-branding projects.
She holds an MBA from Royal Melbourne Institution of Technology (RMIT) and a Bachelor of Communication and Marketing.
